Another actress has been reinvented at the hands of stylist Manish Malhotra. Amrita Arora, one of Bollywood’s favourite girls-next-door, has shed her old wardrobe, put on trendy makeup, and is ready to step on to the silver screen wearing a sexy new look. ‘Short Kut – The Con Is On’, releasing on July 10, is a very funny film, she says, but it will present Amrita as never seen before. Bikini tops, cleavage on show and a sultry look have normally not been associated with her. However, Amrita says the character she plays is someone she could instantly identify with, adding that, “Mansi is the heart of the film, she brings in a certain grace to this otherwise madcap film”.In an email interview with masala.com, she also opens up about her co-stars, calling Arshad Warsi ‘superb’, Akshaye Khanna ‘a cutie’ and producer Anil Kapoor, ‘absolutely brilliant’.
